New little awesomeness in VS2012 (MVC 4 awesomeness)

I just noticed something that I thought I would share with you all about VS 2012 that if you are an MVC web developer, you will love to pieces!!

I was just altering my View and happened to create a tag that I called header to place all my JavaScript in. Now I know your probably saying, but Gregg, that’s supposed to be head. Well if you said that in your head, you’d be right, it was a typo.

Here is where the cool part is. If you are in VS2012 MVC 4,  you can edit that top level tag, and it will automatically change your matching tag below. Don’t believe me, try it out.

I was going to load a video in here, but for some reason it just wasn’t having it today.. sorry!!

About Gregg Coleman

I am Senior-level Software Engineer working primarily these days with .NET. I have a good working knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, Web Forms, WCF web services and Windows Services. I spend much of my time in the Web Services (SOAP and REST) world in my current job designing and implementing various SOA architectures. I have been in the software engineering industry for about 6 years now and will not now nor ever consider myself an "expert" in programming because there is always so much to learn. My favorite thing about designing software is there are always new emerging technologies and something to learn every day! My current job has me spending much of my job on the bleeding edge of technologies and changing gears all the time, so I'm never bored and always challenged. On my spare time I enjoy weight training, reading and venturing to new places near by. Of course programing and learning new technologies are another hobby of mine.

I’m really impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a great blog like this one today.
